The raw wood. Purpleheart body & Tigerwood neck.
Ambrosia Maple fretboard & control cavity cover.

Fret slots cut & glued fretboard to neck.

Neck screw holes drilled & countersunk washers drilled.

Starting the carving process.

Crushed garnet for accents & neck inlays.
Needed to crush it down even farther...
...nope still not fine enough.
Now we're talking!! To be mixed with resin for inlays.
Drawing the inlays.
Zodiac sign inlays.
12th fret inlay carved out.
Accents added, resin poured, & finish applied.
Pouring resin garnet inlays.
Finish applied to neck.
Adding frets.
Level, crown & polish done to the frets.

Hardware installed on neck & custom truss rod cover made.

Ok now for the custom case for it.
Basic frame.
Top & bottom installed to frame.
Box complete.
Cut in two & outside coated in cabinet paint.
Lid foam and faux fur installed.
Air tight strips covered and being glued into bottom
Cutting out the form fit styrofoam for bottom.
Latches & handle installed.
Protective corners added.
Case Finished!! Outside....
